Accommodation

We strongly recommend that you book accommodation through our association at no additional levy to the advertised prices, or at least check with Beryl at secretary@oasa.org.za before making an independent booking. Kruger National Park has a speed limit of 50km/h on tar roads and 40 km/h on dirt road and you would not be able to stay at another rest camp within Kruger National Park and still attend all lectures as the gates for the camps and park have set opening and closing times between dusk and dawn. Any accommodation would need to be made around the Malelane Gate of Kruger National Park. We have selected a few options below for your convenience. Travelling long distances at night back to your accommodation would not be ideal and would detract from your experience in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

We have secured some accommodation in the Berg-en-Dal camp but there are limited options available.
There are three basic types of accommodation and all are shared options.
Due to limited accommodation available in the camp we will only be able to accept shared accommodation booked for Berg-en-Dal itself.
For single accommodation, please see other accommodation options available further on in this booking form.

The KNP is not open all day and night. Entry gate and camp gate opening and closing times for August are - Open 06h00, close 18h00.
If you are late back into camp or found driving around at night, you will be fined. Make sure to be out or back in the camp before closing time! We have a special arrangement to escort delegates to the gate after hours to get back to accommodation outside of the park.
